What you'll do

• Execute workload planning for assigned area into actual results
• Lead by example building and promoting a team environment focused on working collaboratively and championing the Primary Connect values
• Use effective communication techniques which encourage open and honest communications with internal and external team partnerships
• Ensure that the team comply with safety policies, procedures and role responsibilities
• Have an in-depth understanding of your area of responsibility to ensure that you are able to work with key stakeholders to optimise efficiency, delivery of KPI's and support continuous improvement
• Demonstrate high level of ownership of area and ensure appropriate accountability exists

What you'll bring

• Proven people leadership skills and attention to detail
• Experience in a warehouse / distribution / logistics environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
• Proven ability to work in a highly dynamic fast paced environment
• Working knowledge of Distribution Centre systems eg. JDA (Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System, Yard Management System).
• Experience with various computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Google Suite
• Must be able to work a set roster which includes Saturday and Sunday
