About the role:
As a Distribution Centre Team Supervisor, you will work within a safety driven and operational distribution environment. Your role will support the delivery of stock to our stores and customers and have impact on how we deliver best service to the broader Bunnings network.
What's involved:
Load and unload products on delivery trucks
Ensure orders are dispatched in full and on time
Consolidating pallets in the lands and overflows
Help drive the Bunnings’ culture and participate in fun activities
The main function is to drive the PM shift to complete the loads safely and accurately in a timely fashion, but mainly leading from the front-loading trucks with the team.
You will report directly to the Outbound team manager and support the PM shift duty manager. Overseeing up to 10 team members daily.
Who we’re looking for:
Seeking a FULL-TIMESupervisor to join our Eastern Creek Distribution CentreOutbound Team!
You will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. You will have a focus on safety and the ability to work, think and act in a safe manner within the DC environment.
You’ll need:
A current Forklift License
The availability to work afternoons and late evenings (2:30-10:30pm)
Experience in outbound workflow, loading and unloading trucks, consolidating pallets.
Accuracy and attention to detail
A genuine passion for customer service
