The Opportunity
Join us in a key role supporting undergraduate practical teaching for Education and Design programs. You'll coordinate resources for engaging digital design, photography, educational science, art and technology classes across campuses, ensuring students have quality hands-on learning experiences.
You will
- contribute to the technical support and expertise to practical, simulation-based, and online delivery of undergraduate teaching to facilitate optimal learning in the Education and Design programs;
- deliver expertise and technical skills Education, Creative Industries and Design research, engagement, and external activities to be conducted safely and effectively; and
- assume ownership of the booking systems for Education, Creative Industries Design resource dispensaries delivered across UniSC campuses.

You will possess:
- completion of a degree in education or digital design or equivalent, with subsequent relevant experience in an educational environment or a digital design technical support industry or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
- knowledge of workplace health and safety in a practical teaching environment including experience in conducting, documenting, and implementing outcomes of risk assessments;
- demonstrated ability to maintaining high standards of cleaning/housekeeping with the ability to document reports and produce operational procedures;
- strong analytical and problem-solving or diagnostic skills for relevant equipment, including technology enabled learning tools;
- experience in installation, maintenance and support for digital design applications, educational science/technology equipment including firmware updates and configuration;
- current driver’s licence (to undertake this position you will be expected to drive UniSC vehicles); and
- experience working with photography equipment, digital design and educational science or electronics resources, would be highly regarded.
