As a key contributor in supporting our rapidly growing market needs, the Distribution Requirements Planner (DRP) based in our DC in Dandenong will ensure product availability and stock optimization through efficient distribution planning. In close collaboration with divisional category management, demand & Supply planning, and the operations teams this role will oversee end to end inventory and distribution planning for the Loreal Australia distribution network, which includes the Melbourne DC, Perth DC and the new Loreal DC in Brisbane.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Plan and manage product replenishment cross local warehouses for ongoing, promotional and launch products.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels across the network by periodically reviewing stock policy and system parameters.
- Collaborate with category management and supply chain management teams across Loreal to manage launch & promotional forecasts and stock arbitration.
- Become a key user of replenishment tools and support any initiatives in improving the tools and the process.
- Analyse and report on KPIs including DIFOT (Delivery in Full and on time), RO fill rate, Days of Supply, Master data integrity and E&O.
- Manage excess and obsolete (E&O) stock across the warehousing network with periodic analysis, reporting and executing recalls.
- Lead and coordinate improvement projects with a focus on simplifying and automating processes to drive service level and remove complexity in the supply chain.
- Educate the rest of the business on process, best practices and operating standards related distribution planning.
- Work as part of a team with all stakeholders involved in the process favouring a spirit of mutual help and cooperation.
ABOUT YOU
- SAP expertise in relation of physical distribution & materials management is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of customer expectations and demonstrated high level of customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate and structure large amount of data, very strong knowledge of Excel is required.
- At least 3 years' experience in supply chain planning function such as production, supply, demand, or distribution planning is strongly preferred.
- Pro-active, detail oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
