Do work that matters:
Reporting to the Lead of our Culture, Leadership, and Inclusion COE, you will hold the role of “DEI Stream Lead” you’ll draw on your deep subject matter expertise in best practices DEI to partner, influence, and coach leaders at all levels to translate the DEI strategy into action.
The role will also work closely across Human Resources to embed Equity and Inclusion into HR processes. You’ll:
Leverage data insights to forecast external trends and internal needs to contribute to one integrated strategy for Culture, Leadership and Inclusion.
Through DEI data insights (lead and lag indicators) hold senior leaders to account through tracking and providing coaching and advise on their action plans and impact.
Partner and support internal stakeholders across the CBA Group such as Corporate Affairs, People Analytics and Health, Safety and Wellbeing to engage all stakeholders, including employees, in meaningful ways that will positively impact progress.
Influence the agenda and actions of our employee network groups, DEI councils and Inclusion council.
Support the development of DEI capability of leaders and key stakeholders.
Prepare and present executive reporting to our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and board.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Deep subject matter expertise in DEI such as regulatory reporting and compliance, workplace legislation, governance, gender equality, accessibility, and cultural awareness.
Proven experience in designing, implementing and evaluating behavioural and systemic change initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to align work across a matrix organisation.
Experience with translating workforce data into actionable insights to enhance people experience.
Excellent written communication skills (ELT and board level) and demonstrated results in using internal communication platforms to educate and embed change.
Energetic and driven, work well under pressure, bringing attention to detail and an ability to meet multiple and competing deadlines through effective partnerships and influence.
Ability to navigate ambiguity well to solve complex problems.
Fostered a culture of care and belonging, seeks and actions feedback on how they can create a safe and inclusive culture through humility.
Requirements
Min 10 years’ experience in HR/ OD with demonstrated depth in DEI
Tertiary qualification (bachelor's degree); or demonstrated l&D experience in lieu of Tertiary qualification.
Experience in other areas of organisational development e.g. leadership, culture transformation, talent management and performance would be advantageous.
Experience working in an agile environment would be beneficial.
