ABOUT THE ROLE:
Summary of the role: We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic Divisional Director - Community and Hospital Care at Home Services to lead our Community and home-based programs at Werribee Mercy Hospital during a time of exciting growth and expansion.
Working collaboratively with the General Manager Werribee Mercy Hospital, you will deliver sustainable Community and Hospital Care at home services that align with Mercy Health’s strategy and values.
Focused on achieving operational, financial and performance goals for Community and Hospital Care at home services you will embed a culture of continuous improvement across the program.
Reporting to the General Manager Werribee Mercy Hospital – this is a new opportunity to create a difference.

ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking an innovative individual to join our leadership team. You’ll have excellent communication skills and will have previously demonstrated the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You’ll be dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you’ll find diversity, meaning and a professional challenge.
You will also have;
  • Allied Health or Nursing qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration if required
  • Post graduate qualification (or working towards) in health services management, business administration, management, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Previous management experience within a large, complex healthcare or other relevant organisation at a senior level

Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne. Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening or our new intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and the opening of two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.
