The Divisional DirectorWestern Public Health Unit (WPHU) is accountable to ensure successful achievement of all operational, financiall and performance goals for the Division whilst embedding a culture of continuous improvement to meet business and operational priorities.The Divisional Director works in partnership with the Director WPHU to deliver contemporary models of service provision, outbreak management and emergency response that are evidence based and have sound clinical governance.WPHU is a local Public Health unit covering West and Nort-West areas of metropolitan Melbourne (total population 1.2M). As Divisioal Director of WPHU, the position willwork in conjunction withthe Director PHU to support Public Health interactions with the Department of Health (DH) regarding the State's Public Health system. Furthermore, this position will ensure successful delivery of key new Public Health initiatives throughout Western Health and WPHU catchment.The role is responsible for ensuring that each unit has high performing multidisciplinary teams which operate professionally and collegially, to support a culture of excellence in clinical practice at Western Health.About UsOur workforce of over 11,000 employees are driven by our values of ‘Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety’ (CARES).
