Our client, a Global leader in the minerals and resource industry, is seeking an experienced Document Control specialist to assist with a large-scale project from within the corporate office based in Perth CBD for 3-6 months only.
Working hours: Full time 38 Hours per week (Monday
- Friday) Location: Perth CBD
- Some WFH flexibility available Start: ASAP Duration: 3-6 month assignment Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $65.00 p/h + Super depending on experience
The Role Some of the key responsibilities of this role include: Issue/update reports and statistics on the status of project deliverables Responsible for the registration, distribution and disposition of project documentation in accordance with BHP standards and project requirements. Work in close collaboration with the project team to support the management of project deliverables.
Prepare and process records for scanning in support of engineering / construction / commissioning activities Provide support, guidance and governance to the External Contractors document control teams Provide support and coaching on document management systems and processes Explore and offer solutions to project information management issues and challenges Processing all documentation received, including vendor data, in accordance with prescribed procedures and time schedules Entering & updating electronic copies of internally produced data and vendor data into in the electronic document management systems Allocating and controlling the numbering of documents and drawings Revision of the database when necessary and manual filing Experience Required Professional qualifications related to information management/document control will be highly regarded Experience managing engineering information within Oil/Gas or Construction Experience using completions and commissioning database systems Strong working knowledge of ProjectWise Proficient in Aconex, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Word packages Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an overriding commitment to safety Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Reliability, accountability and good judgement If you are interested in the role and fit the criteria, please apply online today!
