Document Writer - Mt Isa

• Local Mt Isa or FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns

NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced Document Writer for a mine site based role with our Mt Isa client.
Your responsibilities within the role will include:

• Develop documents including work instructions, SOPs and WH&S procedures
• Researching, drafting, writing and editing documents
• Working closely with relevant site personnel to obtain all relevant document information
• Ensure existing and new work instructions are verified for correctness and validity
• Ensure compliance with relevant business codes of conduct, statutory acts and regulations

To succeed you will possess the following:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Strong written communication skills (technical writing)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to create clear, well-structured documents.
• You will be a team player and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent organisational skills and effective communication skills
• The ability to pass a mine pre employment medical & complete required inductions.

Roster and pay rate are negotiable based on experience.
