About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Domestic andFamily Violence Therapeutic Support Practitionerto provide support to clients to reach their goals though both group and individual case work and coordinate group training programs within the Safe Families Program.
- Full Time permanent opportunity.
- Level 4 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $82,046 and 88,288 (pro-rata) plus super.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Work collaboratively with the Safe Families team to deliver activities to families and children to meet therapeutic goals and support the case plan.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure families’ goals are achieved.
- Support the coordination of group training programs within the Safe Families Program.
- Deliver group training programs that provide psychoeducation for families experiencing Domestic and Family Violence such as Drumbeat, Love Bites, Shark Cage, Caring Dads.

About You
- Certificate IV in Community Services or similar vocational qualification is required with experience in working in Domestic and Family Violence.
- Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (eg. social work, human services, allied health, psychologist) desirable.
- Professional registration (if required).
- Membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
