About the role
The role of a Domestic Assistant is to provide assistance with cleaning and household duties to clients to enable them to remain independent in their own homes while enhancing their quality of life. The level and type of domestic assistance will vary according to the client support/care plan.
- General cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
Laundering clothes and bedding as well as ironing and folding of items
Dusting, wiping and mopping of counters/floors
Cleaning the kitchen, dishes and benches
Cleaning bathrooms, sinks, toilets and commodes
Emptying bins
Assisting with organising storage spaces in closets and cupboards (as requested)
Northern region suburbs: Elizabeth, Salisbury
Southern region suburbs: Christies Beach, Hackham, Noarlunga, Marion
You will be available to work over a 7day rotating roster, including weekday and weekend.
What you will need
Current NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children check (if working with children)
Current driver’s licence and willing to drive in the course of work activities
Evidence of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Experience in a similar role (desirable)
