About the Role
HenderCare are currently seeking a cleaner to join our team and assist our clients out in the community. We currently have 15+ hours a fortnight to offer across 2 days a week with potential for hours to increase over time.
As a Domestic Assistant at HenderCare, you will be a valuable support system for aged care clients and people with disabilities. You'll take on domestic responsibilities that may have become challenging for them while also offering a much-needed sense of community and companionship. This role operated from Monday-Friday, offering flexible hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm, ensuring the perfect balance between work and life.
Duties include:
- Dusting
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Laundry
- Making beds
- Light meal preparation
- Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
- Unaccompanied shopping on behalf of clients
About You
We are seeking someone with a caring nature and essential qualities such as encouragement, attentiveness, adaptability, excellent communication, and strong time management skills. Approaching people empathetically, you will be someone who is understanding and patient towards the needs of others, and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
You will have:
- Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle (P1's and above or international licence)
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Childrens Check (or willing to obtain)
