Role Overview:
Are you ready to bring some sparkle and shine into people's lives? We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join our amazing Community Care team. In this role, you will provide top-notch home care domestic services, ensuring our clients' living spaces are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
As a Domestic Assistant with Pop-Up Health, you will provide high-quality domestic services to meet the needs of our clients, our modern head office, and our fleet of vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Wave your magic mop and dust away the worries with general cleaning and domestic duties, following our carefully crafted care plan. Snap those gloves on and complete client notes and documentation accurately and promptly.
- Keep an eye out for any changes in our client's health and well-being and report them to our Client Care Liaison.
- Keep the lines of communication open by contacting the Service Coordinator to discuss any issues or concerns.
- Report feedback, including complaints, according to our company policies and procedures.
- Keep everyone safe by identifying and reporting hazards, risks, and incidents as soon as you spot them.
- Maintain a tidy and secure workspace, adhering to our workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Create a seamless experience for our clients by communicating with office staff as needed.
About You:
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following documents and clearances:
- National Police Clearance or a NDIS Worker Check
- First Aid and Manual Handling Certificates
- COVID and Flu Vaccinations
- SA driver's license and a reliable vehicle
You will also possess a reasonable level of fitness to perform tasks like kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting (up to 10kg), and standing or sitting for extended periods. Whilst cleaning or care work experience is preferred, we are specifically seeking candidates with excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and willingness to learn.
