Due to an increase in demand and the release of new products, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our top performing team on a Full-Time basis (40hrs per week). In this role you would be expected to work overtime on a regular basis during the week, and also, on the weekends [mainly Saturdays] for which you will be paid at the applicable overtime rates.
The candidate will possess the following:
- Forklift license essential
- Overhead crane experience preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 2yrs experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Physically fit
- Punctual, eager and efficient
- A willingness to progress towards a leadership role
- Must be well presented, polite and honest.
- A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously as well
Duties:
- Loading and unloading of goods using a forklift.
- Storing goods in the warehouse in a safe manner.
- Providing stock to the factory staff when requested.
- Doing quality control checks.
- Making sure that the goods received are as per purchase orders.
- Daily and monthly stock-takes.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
