Draftsperson/Designer

Armour Homes is seeking a talented and experienced Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed drawings for residential construction projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales consultants, engineers, directors and pre - start consultants to develop architectural plans and construction drawings for residential projects.
• Utilise CAD software to create and revise floor plans, elevations, and other construction documents.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications.
• Review and incorporate feedback from clients, sales consultants, and directors into the design process.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
• Maintain organised documentation and records of all drawings and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ArchiCad software.
• Previous experience in residential drafting and construction.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Associate degree or technical certification in drafting or a related field is preferred.
• Have minimum five years experience in the same role 
• Design and revise sales sketches
