Their services include but are not limited to; project work, batch processing and assembly manufacturing and one-off jobs such as urgent repairs and break downs.
THE ROLE
This dynamic company is in a stage of rapid growth and is looking for a Draftsperson/Engineer who can play a pivotal role in transforming conceptual ideas into tangible products by applying technical expertise, collaboration, and attention to detail throughout their project’s lifecycles.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and formulate solutions for novel machine systems and projects.
- Develop 3D models and intricate project details for workshop production.
- Engage directly with customers to address their specific requirements.
- Review drawings, initiate material orders, and compile comprehensive packages for workshop processing.
- Oversee and maintain the workshop scheduling system.
- Provide the factory with clear and precise direction free from errors and omission.
- Advocate a culture of ongoing improvement within the organization.
- Collaborate with customers and technical staff to devise efficient manufacturing methods for specific items.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Engineering/Trade qualifications
- Demonstrated passion for delivering high-quality outcomes within designated timelines.
- Effective multitasking and time management abilities.
- Capacity to assume responsibility and demonstrate accountability.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
- Excellent communication proficiency.
- Aptitude for leadership and decision-making.
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
