Drainage Engineer

The Local Victorian Council Randstad has partnered with is looking for an experienced Civil engineer with Drainage Engineering work experience for an initial 3-6 month assignment.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit permit applications related to drainage works
• Plan checking
• Assess and determine the legal point of discharge for properties roads within the council area.
• Design, analyse, and optimise drainage systems to handle storm water runoff efficiently.
• Collaborate with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to address drainage-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in Drainage Engineering and Legal point of discharge assessments.
• Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
