Shore seeks to appoint a qualified and experienced Drama Teacher to teach Year 9 to HSC-level students as well as 1 junior English class. This role will be a 12-month contract covering a maternity leave position.

- Hold the requisite NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) approved teaching qualifications and accreditation.
- Have prior teaching experience in Drama, across Years 7 to 12. Experience teaching English would be ideal however not essential.
- Have the ability to inspire and engage effectively with senior school students.
- Have a strong working knowledge in matters of pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment for senior school students.
- Be a passionate advocate for innovative approaches to learning and able to demonstrate how you have applied this in your lesson planning and classroom management.
- Be a superior communicator, both written and verbally, including possessing a demonstrated ability to engage with parents, staff, and students effectively; and
- Be willing to participate fully in the co-curricular life of the school including after school co-curricular Drama events and activities throughout the year.
