The Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km west of Menzies in 2019.
As a private company our family owners recognise the most important building block to success lies in the strength of this ‘Team’, building one that shares the Group’s vision to be different. Sure, the mining industry is booming in Western Australia – but finding the right people fit is no easy task.
At Aurenne we strive to build a quality operation that is ‘special’ where being part of the ‘Team’ is an important component of the work experience. Accordingly, we provide our Team with the tools they need to succeed - whether it be ‘new equipment for new projects’, or building an airstrip to facilitate easy site access, or even construction of our new Forest Cabin Village at Mt. Ida which is truly second to none.
Scope of work
We are looking for a Drill Fitter to join our team. The scope of work will include but is not limited to maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and breakdown attendance for our 4 drill rigs. We currently have a UDR1000, Hydco350 and 2 blast hole rigs, with a 5th rig arriving later in the year, a Schram 685.
The suitable candidate must be able to trouble shoot, complete servicing and ensure the rigs are in good working order prior to every shift. Working out of the mobile maintenace workshop primarily, however you will be required to attend drill sites to check and monitor the rigs and assist with any breakdowns or concerns. All of these sites are on our tenements and are within approx. 40kms from site and workshop.
