DRILL FITTERS / PLANT MECHANICS - Field Service

Hagstrom Drilling is a privately owned and operated drilling company based in Canning Vale, Western Australia. We are seeking Full Time Drill Fitters / Plant Mechanics for Field Service on a 2:1 or 2:2 rosters from Perth.

Key components of this role are to service and maintain a modern fleet including Schramm, Austex, Boart Longyear, and Sandvik Drill rigs, Sullair air compressors, Ox boosters, and tracked support equipment. 

ESSENTIAL KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Plant Mechanic / Drill Fitter trade qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in diagnosing / servicing / repairing of surface drill rigs, hydraulics, auxiliary water pumps and compressors.
• Minimum Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers license or above.
• Possess general welding and fabrication skills.
• Attention to detail, organized, self starter, strategic thinker, good problem solving and housekeeping skills.
• Flexible, able to multi-task and excellent prioritization skills.
• Computer skills.
• Motivated to be apart of a proactive team focused on the continual development and improvement of the organisation as a whole.

This hands-on role requires an individual who has high attention to detail, can work autonomously, and has high regards for Quality Service Safely.
