Job description
The Drill Support is responsible for assisting in the running of the drill fleet by providing water, oils, consumables and other required items in a timely manner.
Key Accountabilities ? Attend work in a professional and presentable manner in line with Fitness for Work guidelines.
? Attend PSI meetings to receive information pertinent to the day’s activities.
? Conduct a thorough prestart inspection of all equipment operated for the shift, noting sufficient detail on any defects identified.
? Operate Drill Support trucks and other equipment within their design and capability.
? Ensure support equipment is kept in a clean and tidy state with suitable stocks of required oils, water, drill bits and other consumables.
? Deliver water, oils, drill bits and other consumables to the drill pattern in order to maintain production.
? Advise when stock levels are running low and need to be ordered.
? Return used drill bits and rubbish to the workshop and pack away for resharpening or dispose of appropriately.
? Ensure consumable storage areas are maintained in a neat and tidy state
? Participate in the daily BAC testing. been deemed competent to do so.
? Complete Take 5 cards, JSEA’s and SWO’s as required.
Must be able to pass Pre employment Medical, DAS, hold Manual HR Drivers Licence
