Position Overview: As a Duty Manager at Brookies Rural Traders Karalee, you will play a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations. We are searching for a confident and responsible leader who is eager to solidify their position within our company and grow alongside our business. This is a full-time equivalent role on a rotating roster, including some weekend shifts, as we proudly serve our community seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume a management role with responsibilities such as staff supervision and store opening/closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
• Mentor and support our dedicated team members to ensure they deliver the same exceptional service.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering, and merchandising to maintain well-stocked and organised displays.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate as necessary.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement business strategies and achieve performance goals.
• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
• Uphold our commitment to quality products and service that our customers know and love.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• A background in produce, garden, pet, or rural supplies is advantageous.
• A passion for the land and rural lifestyle is a bonus.
• Ready to step into a management position and take on responsibilities.
