The Hotel Hinchinbrook in Ingham, North Queensland is looking for an Duty Manager to join their amazing team. Hotel Hinchinbrook is the ultimate venue to eat, drink and catch a game The historic pub boasts a Sports bar, TAB, Bistro, and gaming facilities. We offer high-quality pub food complemented by a large range of beers, cocktails, and spirits in a welcoming family atmosphere.
We are looking for a team member who has a passion for leadership, consistency, teamwork, training and coaching, and providing and demonstrating great customer service!

The Role
As a Duty Manager your key focuses will include:
- Leading the team and ensuring they are consistently delivering a quality customer experience
- Setting the example for your team and driving a strong positive culture
- Maintaining cost controls as well as working with the team on sales-driving initiatives
- Overseeing all bar, bistro and gaming service whilst on shift
- Management of up to 20 staff, including training, rostering and on- shift management.
Successful candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality management role, ideally working across food, bars and gaming
- A strong focus on gaming, maintaining and driving service standards
- An ability to run a fast-paced venue
- A customer focus, always aiming to provide exceptional customer service
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Great attention to detail and venue presentation
- Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
- Strong cash handling skills and have had exposure back-of-house procedures
This position will require the applicant to be available for night, weekend and public holiday work
RSA & RCG Certificate essential, Approved Managers Certificate preferred but not essential
This role provides an excellent remuneration package including super and accommodation if required.
