We are searching for someone able to successfully run and manage an entire shift as a Duty Manager for a Mexican-style restaurant - Esteban. You will be working with a dynamic team in Sydney CBD
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing all aspects of restaurant operations.
About the role
- Able to run a shift and manage a high-volume restaurant and bar
- Lead a dynamic and motivated team
- Perform all aspects of the customer service to the highest standard
- Be able to run a busy service and maintain high standards
- Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies
- Monitor and report on revenue and cash flow
- Uphold and enforce company policies
- Address employee complaints or performance issues as needed
- Check in with employees regularly to determine satisfaction
- Schedule shifts
- Address customer issues and complaints
- Excellent presentation and professionalism
- Always in the detail with great communication skills
- Honest and Authentic restaurant and venue management
- Solid understanding of food and beverages
- Positive can-do attitude
- Must be able to work flexible hours consisting of both day and nights
- RSA Essential
- A relevant Diploma qualification or higher is highly desired
At least 2 years relevant work experience at a managerial/supervising role isrequired
