Located within the recently reimagined Northpoint Tower, a landmark destination, the hotel is strategically positioned within the heart of the area's bustling commercial district and surrounded by an abundance of choices for dining and shopping.
Situated on the corner of Miller Street and the Pacific Highway, the hotel is well-connected with public transport options, including North Sydney train station which is only two stops away from Sydney's CBD and offers an idyllic commute over the iconic Harbour Bridge.
About the role…..
As the Duty Manager, you will lead the dynamic Front Office team with the “hands-on” day-to-day operations and the delivery of high-level customer service to our guests.
Reporting to the Assistant Hotel Manager you’re pitch-perfect when it comes to understanding and exceeding guest expectations. You drive and thrive on meaningful connections – with both guests and the team. You’re a natural-born leader, a role model for our front-line, and an occasional peacemaker and problem-solver!?
Key Responsibilities include….
- Lead the daily operations of the hotel and front office team members
- Coordinate tasks for each shift and delegate to receptionists
- Manage the daily check-in/check-out process and procedures.
- Conduct daily team briefings
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and efficiently
- Prepare and deliver daily occupancy reports
About You……
- Min of 1-years’ experience at a supervisory level from a hotel front office.
- Proven experience in leading and effectively motivating a team
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Working knowledge of a Property Management System (Opera or Protel)
- Proven consistent high-level delivery of customer service.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Flexible availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster
- Current RSA Certificate and First Aid Certificate, or the ability to obtain.
