We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Duty Manager to join our vibrant team at Club Burleigh. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the club's day-to-day activities, providing exceptional customer experiences, and effectively overseeing shifts. The ideal candidate should be a go-getter with experience in managing gaming operations, particularly with Odyssey gaming systems (Ideal but not mandatory). Problem-solving skills, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Shift Management: Efficiently manage daily operations, oversee staff, and coordinate activities to ensure seamless and successful shift transitions.
Customer Experience: Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, ensuring that members and guests enjoy exceptional customer service and have a positive experience at all times.
Gaming Operations: Utilize your expertise in Odyssey gaming systems to manage gaming floor operations, including machine maintenance, payouts, and regulatory compliance.
Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any customer concerns, staff issues, or operational challenges that may arise during shifts.
Staff Supervision: Supervise, motivate, and lead staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies, standards, and safety protocols.
Compliance: Ensure all activities within the club comply with relevant regulations, including responsible gaming practices and health and safety requirements.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and other relevant data, and provide timely reports to higher management.
Training: Facilitate training for new staff members, ensuring they are well-informed about the club's procedures, policies, and customer service standards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for enhancing club operations, customer experiences, and revenue growth.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure the safety of all club patrons and staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Duty Manager, preferably in a social club or similar hospitality setting.
Proficiency in managing Odyssey gaming systems is an added bonus but not mandatory
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with staff and customers.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Current QLD RMLV and QLD Approved license, First aid, QLD RSA & QLD RSG.
