Our client, Adamstown Bowling Club, is an authentic community club which supports bowls as well as local hockey, soccer, and cricket clubs. The club is the venue of choice amongst locals for events and live music.
They are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join the team and lead the team on a permanent full-time basis.
About the Role:
As Duty Manager you will assist in leading the day-to-day operations of the Club, making sure high levels of customer service are provided, supervising employees, whilst building and maintaining relationships with the local community.
The main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the venue is well presented and welcoming to patrons.
- Lead the team in the execution of operational activities ensuring excellent customer service.
- Be responsible for the security of the Club and its property, staff and patrons.
- Monitoring and managing all RSA, RCG and WHS responsibilities in the venue, resolving or escalating incidents or concerns as necessary.
- Oversee stock control and management of monies.
About You:
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Willing to work as a part of a team and collaborate with management.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
- Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings.
