Duty Manager-North Queensland
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy venue located in North Queensland.
the role would suit an experienced, hands on Duty Manager who can assist the venue manager in the day to day operations of the hotel. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gaming, staff supervision and able to offer excellence in customer service. Great opportunity for career advancement.
This is 100% hands on role working across all areas of the venue.
The venue offers onsite accommodation, bar, bistro, bottle shop, gaming and holds functions and events.
Package:
- $60,000-$75,000 Salary Range
- Free Accommodation & Duty Meals Provided
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Hands on across bar, bistro, gaming, functions and events
- Training and supervision of staff
- Offering excellence in customer service
- Management of all aspects of gaming including pokies, TAB & Keno
- Cashing up and balancing of tills
- Open / Close of the venue
- Ensure compliance with RSA & RSG across the venue
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have current Qld RSA and RSG
- Possess or be able to obtain RMLV & Approved Managers within 4 weeks of commencement
- Hold a current police clearance
- Ideally hold a current drivers license and have own vehicle
- Must have previous supervisory/management experience
- Able to work as part of the team
