AddressWe are seeking experienced and motivated Certificate 3, Diploma and ECT qualified educators to join a professional and dedicated team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate 3, Diploma or ECT.
- Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain.
- Clear Working with Children Check.
- Clear National Police Check.
- Australian citizen or permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience working with children aged Birth to 5 years.
- Genuine willingness to work with any age groups (including Birth to 2 years).
- Sound computer literacy skills related to documentation and program planning.
- Demonstrated understanding of current education and care legislation regulations and guidelines.
- High level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Effective implementation of theory and research-based pedagogy.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Create an environment that acknowledges and encourages each and every child’s agency and participation.
- Facilitate and document learning opportunities founded on children's interests.
- Work collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals.
- Develop and maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families.
- Follow centre’s philosophy, policies and procedures.
