We are seeking applications for the position of Early Childhood Consultant to join our dynamic team.
This is a full time fixed term position (leave replacement due to internal promotion) commencing as soon as possible and concluding 31 December 2024.
Applications are encouraged from existing CEWA school employees wishing to explore the option of a period of leave from their present position.
What you will be doing?
This role is responsible for providing support and build capacity for school leaders and staff to understand and enhance the holistic development of children during their early years.

Your Background
- Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
- Commitment to CEWA’s Vision for Learning and Early Years Position Statement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood
- Knowledge and excellent understanding of pedagogical practice in the Early Years.
- Recent school-based experience with a history of exemplary teaching in the Early Years.
- Excellent knowledge of current issues, initiatives, and research in the Early Years.
- Excellent practical and theoretical experience with data analysis.
- Capacity to work with school leaders and teachers.
- Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive.
- Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
- Experience in delivering quality professional learning.
- Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Current TRBWA registration and Working with Children Check.
- A willingness to travel to and work in regional and remote locations.
