Gyndarna Indigenous Corporation (GIC) is an Aboriginal Controlled Organisation delivering two NSW PreSchool programs. Gyndarna PreSchool is Sunraysia's only Indigenous Controlled PreSchool, whilst Pooncarie PreSchool is unique hybrid service. Both services deliver learning through “Learn Through Play” education program.

About the Role
The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of high quality, innovative and inclusive Early Childhood education programs for children with high learning support needs.
Collaborate with families, health professionals and other educators to create indivisualised plans for high learning needs children. Also adapting strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of high learning needs children.
The Early Childhood Educator will contribute as required to the development, implementation and documentation of safe and developmentally appropriate education programs for each child.
The position will work as part of a team, reporting directly to one of the room leaders which are onsite all the time.
Gyndarna currently has 50 children enrolled in the service, with both a 3-4 & 4-5 year old program.

- Early Childhood Educator, Mon 9:00am - 5:00pm & Tue -Thu 9:00am – 3:30pm. (Possibility of start/finish times can be negotiated to suit the right candidate)
To be considered for these vacancies, you must possess the following:
- A minimum of Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s’ Education and Care Quality Authority - ACECQA)
- Applicants who are working actively towards a Cert III, Diploma or ECT in Early Childhood will be considered.
- Experience working within an Early Childhood education setting desirable but not essential. We encourage newly graduated applicants to apply.
- A current Working with Children check and a satisfactory criminal history with a willingness to complete a National Police Check
