Position Overview:
We seek a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team as a Co-Group Leader for our 2-3 age group. In this newly created role, you will work collaboratively with our experienced educators to deliver an engaging, dynamic, strength and play-based inclusive program that fosters children's holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive curriculum that reflects the strengths, interests and developmental needs of children aged 2-3 years.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, secure, and respected.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues based on trust, empathy, and open communication.
- Observe and assess children's progress and use this information to inform individualised learning experiences.
- Collaborate with families to support children's learning and development at home and in the centre.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements and centre policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Current registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
- Experience working with children aged 2-3 years in an Early Childhood setting.
- Sound knowledge of Early Childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
