Role: Early Childhood Teacher – Investigators Room
Hours: 3 days per week. Up to 22.50 hours per week.
Shifts: Monday 10.00-6.00, Wednesday 9.30-5.30, Friday - 9.30-5.30
Start Date: Immediate.
As part of Shine Bright EYM, a leading not-for-profit community-based education provider, the Maiden Gully Early Years Hub (the Hub) was successfully launched in 2021. We have an amazing group of dedicated educators delivering a first class educational program in our state of the art facility.
The Hub operates both sessional kindergarten and a long day care (LDC) programs. As part of our ongoing aim to improve the educational outcomes of children in our LDC program, we are delighted to offer this newly created teacher vacancy.
This position will lead the integrated kindergarten program in the Investigators Room. You will have a passion for delivering a quality education program and practice that ensures the care and development of each child in the group. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their professionalism, flexibility, leadership and ability to work with others.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Holding a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- A VIT Registration
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Australian Teaching Standards
