Early Childhood Teacher - Albanvale Kindergarten

BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages 29 Kindergartens and 7 Long Day Care Centres in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.  At BPA we strive to provide high quality Early Childhood education across all of our services, with over 70% rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards.  Our values include inclusiveness, quality, leadership, integrity and collaboration, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing.  

We're currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to fill a vacancy on a Fixed Term basis at Albanvale Kindergarten.

• Part Time (Fixed Term Contract until the end of 2024)
  4YO Teacher (Kookaburra Group)
  Monday, Tuesday (16.25 total hours per week)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Educators, working together to build an exceptional practice and help young children to thrive.
• Guide the development and implementation of a high-quality educational program, based on the practices and principles of the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
• Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration and a Police Check are mandatory.
• Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
• The right to work in Australia.
• Experience working with children with a wide range of diverse additional needs.
