Presently, the University is seeking a capable professional to become Head of Medical Biosciences. With responsibilities across a range of areas, this role will provide high quality academic leadership around research, teaching, learning, and community engagement, on both a national and international level.
Reporting to the Dean (People and Resources) and working in close collaboration with other senior executives, directors, and discipline leads, the role spearheads the delivery of innovative, interdisciplinary learning and teaching activities, as well as collaborative research projects and partnerships. The successful candidate will make critical contributions to leadership and management initiatives, as well as productive partnerships and alliances, to ensure the strategic objectives of both the College and the University are met, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including both health and industry players. The ability to model and drive a vibrant, agile, and collegiate organisational culture will be critical to success, as will the ability to initiate suitable development opportunities for both professional and academic staff alike.
