Cloud Administrator to join our team. This role will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems and procedures as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and the cloud environment. The role will also help plan and deploy our ongoing cloud migration. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to operate independently, as well as cooperating across teams in a fast-paced atmosphere with several concurrent projects.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 (M365) & Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
- Develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure
- Migrate existing services to cloud-based solutions
- Monitor the performance of cloud systems, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks or issues
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, promptly resolving any identified issues
- Configure and document cloud solutions through the use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) toolsets and practices
- Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernised
- Maintaining and improving documentation and processes
How you can help us make a differenceThe ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining M365 & Azure services. The
Cloud Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of M365 & Azure applications and services within our organisation. This involves managing a range of technologies in on-premises and public cloud environments.
Required Skills and Experience- 3+ years of IT experience with 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and services, including virtualisation, server, storage, networking, and XaaS
- Demonstrated experience in configuring, implementing and supporting the Microsoft 365 platform - including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams / Phone, Intune MDM, Exchange Online, Entra, Power Platform and Security
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Compliance Management
- Experience in Azure landing zones, blueprints, express route, load balancing, NSG, Azure networking, routing tables and VPN gateways
- Experience in supporting distributed enterprise systems with cloud-based application environments and developing implementation standards
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps and CI/CD including source control and deployment pipelines.
- Experience in cloud orchestration and monitoring technology
- Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Windows Server fundamentals (AD, DNS, Group Policy etc)
Please note: Salaries in the department are provided through its Enterprise Agreement. Additional remuneration may also be provided through Individual Flexibility Arrangements (IFA). These IFAs can be negotiated prior to commencement.
