The Role:
To commence Term 1 2024, we are looking for an inspiring ECT who has sound knowledge of contemporary pedagogy. This services is increasing in size in 2024 therefore we have this permanent part time role for Thursday and Friday's (7.6 hours each day) available.
KU Newport is situated on the Northern Beaches and close to Newport Beach, There is a strong lens of sustainability and community engagement and the service seeks to commence an out the gate program in 2024 to include the beach and surrounding community.

Of course, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
