Pay: $40.49-$ $56.99 Per hour + super with yearly increases

Your Impact

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.  
 

About Goodstart Thornbury:

• We are a 44 place centre tucked away in a quiet part of suburbia but still conveniently close to schools, shops and public transport
• Our centre has three spacious rooms and large outdoor play areas
• Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, developed taking into consideration the individual needs, interests and strengths of each child
• We are seeking a qualified ECT for our 4 year old kinder

You’ll need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current Victorian Institute of Teachers Registration

If you have previous experience as Teacher in a school or early learning environment, or similar, then we want to meet you!
