We arelooking to employ an experienced educator who is qualified with their ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification or equivalent. We already have a competent ECT at our service and wish to recruit an additional Teacher to our team.
About us
- Our Early Childhood service accommodates 74 children and provide a level of care that feels like an extension of home in our 0-15 months, 15 months-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-5 year old rooms; filled with love, laughter, and infinite educational possibilities.
Position -Early Childhood Teacher - ECT
- Hours: Permanent Part Time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rotating roster.
- This additional Early Childhood Teacher position allows us to enhance Educator well-being centre wide through supporting existing Educators with necessary skills, knowledge and experience.
- Our ECT position benefits from the guidance and support of our Mentoring Team. This dedicated team collaborates with educators to enhance overall staff satisfaction, working conditions, and Early Childhood quality.
- This position will strengthen our ‘on-the-floor’ ratios across the service.

Our ECTs design age-appropriate activities, encourage social interactions, facilitate learning through play, and promote emotional and cognitive growth in a safe and nurturing environment.

Criteria
- A current ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification - please note to work as an ECT under the NQF, you need to hold an approved Early Childhood teaching qualification or equivalent.
- A current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate - Child Care Approved (HLTAID012 or 004)
- Current CPR
- A genuine passion for working with Children
- A sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
