Early Childhood Techer

Future Kids Child Care and Kindergarten are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher commencing full time employment with an immediate start.

Future Kids offers an above award salary package, based on experience and knowledge, 6 weeks leave and up to 6hrs per week programming per week and excellent working conditions. 

Purpose of the Role

Future kids offer an open and play based learning environment, with a Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood education, providing a stimulating, interactive and nurturing learning environment, helping each child in our care to grow and reach their full potential.  We are looking for an Educator with a strong understanding and passion for early education and incorporating the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework into their program, we are looking forward in receiving you application. 

Major Duties

• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork is essential as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with families, children, and staff members
• Foster and inspire different approaches to stimulate a love of learning
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the necessary systems to ensure alignment with the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care and the Early Years Learning Framework
• Embed the Reggio Emilia Philosophy into daily practice so each child is valued and respected and viewed as competent and curious
• Promote excellence and cater for the need pf students to be both challenged and supported
• Develop learning opportunities that are inclusive and engaging for each child so that individual learning plans and outcomes are achieved
• Establish and maintain a learning environment both indoors and outdoors that is stimulating and provides a wide range of resources and materials that the children utilise to develop individual and group projects.

Qualification Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or Teaching qualification as approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates 
• Child Protection
• VIT Teacher Registration
