Life Ed CQ, a local not-for-profit organization in Central Queensland, is seeking applications for the role of Early Learning Educator/Administrator. This position offers a part-time\term-time arrangement, working a minimum of 15 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate of $30-$35 and a company vehicle for use during work hours.
We are seeking a mature minded individual with a keen interest in educating our young people to make better choices for the future. On top of that we are seeking someone who has Social Media skills, excellent communication skills & the ability to self-manage under the direction of the Committee.
As an Early Learning Educator/ Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Addressing inquiries from Schools, Early Learning Centre's & governing bodies
- Managing shared inboxes
- Assisting with reporting tasks as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Assisting to manage the primary Educators calendars, including occasional travel arrangements
- Assisting in sourcing content for social media updates
- Fulfilling other administrative duties as assigned
- Delivery the Early Learning sessions
- Maintaining relationships with the Early Learning Centre's
- Managing the locating and applying for funding grants and sponsorship
- Submitting daily tracking reports to the Committee
- Attend occasional community event and fundraising (possibly held on weekends)
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Prior experience in administrative roles with experience in Early Learning education ideal but not essential.
- A professional and personable customer service demeanor
- Strong organisational skills and self-motivation
- Exceptional computer literacy
- Ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines
- Strong community mind
- Valid Qld Blue Card (working with children)
