Smart Start Early learning Centre has a position for an experienced Administrator to join our team.
This administrator position is for 4 hours a day 5 days a week to support the service manager.
This position:
The Administrator is responsible for assisting the service with matters of an administrative and financial nature such as creating and maintaining child enrolment records, accounts management. Managing waitlist information, collecting data for QLD Kindergarten Funding Scheme (QKFS) validation and application of Health Care Card subsidies, retaining accurate attendance records for children and generate child data reports, file maintenance and archiving as well as other administrative duties as needed.
Ideally you will have great organisational and time management skills, flexible and willing to support the service manager in other administrative duties for the educators when required.
Ideal applicants will have:
• Qualification in business administration or related course is preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role as an administrator in an Early Childhood environment ( Kidsoft experience) but not essential
• Proven well developed written, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills coupled with a strong customer service focus
• Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality and integrity
• Be approachable to our community of families, children and employees
• Excellent phone etiquette- positive and cheerful disposition.
Working relationships in this role
The position reports to the service manager, as well as working in collaboration with the leadership team to support successful operations and financial sustainability of the service.
