This permanent full-time opportunity sits within our Operations team at our Murarrie Support Office and is responsible for the management of maintenance tasks across the group - liaising with all trades and maintenance suppliers to coordinate all general maintenance and repairs of our beautiful centres throughout Australia.
Day to day, you will:
- Be responsible for the timely and proper procurement of trades and maintenance contractors nationally to service our new and existing centres based in all states, as well as our Support Office based in Murarrie (inclusive of all regular compliance inspections and service requirements).
- Efficiently obtain quotes and proposals, and negotiate supplier contracts/pricing for any centre works, and gain authority sign-off for works to be completed.
- Liaise with trade and maintenance suppliers on the timely completion of all programmed tasks and all cost and invoicing management.
- Be on call to respond to emergency service calls and queries.
- Ensure contractor adherence to WHS legislative requirements and Green Leaves safety and risk management requirements, including completion of the new vendor process prior to the commencement of any trades completing works across sites.
- Product reporting for all maintenance activities.
You will hold:
- Previous experience in a structured environment including managing multiple sites all things related to facilities maintenance
- Proven experience working with numerous stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Previous experience with Salesforce or other systems
- Experience in project managing facilities maintenance for a Child Care group is highly desired but not essential.
