Earthmoving Plant Opearator
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30 to $35 per hour
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a civil construction team, operating heavy plant machinery on Detailed Earthworks,Trenching, Stormwater / Sewer / Watermain / Electrical, Site Excavation, Road Construction, FinalTrim Earthworks, Concrete Works, Culverts, Footpaths and Commercial Pads/Slabs.
Main tasks-
• preparing and positioning plant for operation
• selecting, fitting and removing attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops,grabs, shovel blades and rock breaking hammers
• operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials
• monitoring operation of plant and adjusting controls to regulate pressure, speed and flow of operation, and ensuring safety of other workers
• raising, lowering and manipulating attachments using manual and hydraulic controls
• working from drawings, markers and verbal instructions
• servicing, lubricating, cleaning and refuelling plant and performing minor adjustments andrepairs
Relevant qualifications
• Relevant Certificate II or relevant Certifi cate III or relevant higher qualifi cation
• General Construction Induction Card

• Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.

General Clerk:
Pay - $35 to $40 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a civil construction company providing administrative support in the main office to the company management and the on site staff.
Main tasks-
• recording, preparing, sorting, classifying and filing information, including swms and other OHS requirements.
• sorting, opening and sending mail including invoices.
• photocopying and faxing documents
• preparing reports for the company management
• recording issue of equipment to staff including maintenance records on equipment
• ordering parts and supplies as directed by site staff and the manager
• receiving letters and telephone messages
• undertaking accounts payable and receivable administration
• may perform receptionist duties
• drafting tender documents and quotes based on instruction from the manager
Relevant qualifications
Relevant Certificate II or relevant Certificate III or relevant higher qualification
