- Working as an ECC Veterinarian across a mixture of shifts- days, evenings, overnights and weekends, with a roster defined in collaboration with the Business manager with your work-life-balance in mind.
- Establishing best practice processes for the department.
- Communicating the vision of the hospital and key department updates to your team to promote a positive work environment.
- Ensuring the department meets financial targets to sustain growth.
- Working with the business manager and other department heads to develop growth strategies.
- Supporting your team by providing feedback and conducting performance reviews to identify their areas of current success and areas for their future professional growth.

- Becoming a first air officer with the appropriate training, as deemed by management.
- You must hold a veterinary degree available for registration in New South Wales.
- Minimum of 5+ years working in a 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospital.
- A demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams.
- Strategic thinking to refine and grow the service.
- Management training (formal or informal through CPD) would be advantageous.
- Commitment to being a team player, good communicator and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
