Role Overview: As the Ecommerce & Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our operational performance and driving the company's strategic direction. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets, including exceptional customer service, financial and operational efficiency, team development, and culture enhancement. From managing importing processes to overseeing staff recruitment and training, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations and maintaining our high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource management planning, including rostering and leave management.
- End-to-end recruitment across the business.
- Time sheeting, reconciliation, leave management, and payroll.
- Organising team meetings and leading performance management efforts.
- Developing and executing training plans for new and existing team members.
- Procedure development and updating, ensuring compliance with WHS and first aid standards.
- Facilities and office maintenance, including systems upkeep.
- Stock control, importation, reporting, and reconciling processes.
- Supplier and customer service maintenance, including handling escalated complaints and claims.
- Business development initiatives, such as sourcing new products and suppliers.
- Supporting the delivery of BPS Projects and optimisation opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management or related field or minimum of 8 years’ experience in ecommerce and operations management.
- Proven track record in staff and performance management, recruitment, and training.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and inventory control.
- Experience in retail and customer service management preferred.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Knowledge of the pool equipment industry or related field is desirable.
