As an Economic Development Officer with Cardinia Shire, you'll play a pivotal role in driving economic growth, attracting investment, and fostering sustainable development across our region. Your strategic planning expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and innovative initiatives will be key in creating a thriving business environment and enhancing the economic well-being of our community.
You will make an impact by
- Conducting research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans for Economic Development.
- Engaging with businesses, investors, and stakeholders to attract and retain enterprises.
- Collaborating with government agencies and industry organizations to build partnerships.
- Providing input on economic policies and regulations.
- Facilitating programs supporting entrepreneurship and small business development.
What you will bring
- Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Economic Development, tourism, or business sectors
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
