Early Childhood Teacher to work at a new, purpose-built educational facility for children aged 0-6 years in Brookvale. Management's focus is to provide an interactive and inviting space to allow children's minds to grow and develop. Their aim is to create an environment which promotes diversity, inclusion, and social equity and has a strong commitment to provide an environment which focusses on developing skills that will not only benefit children when they go to school, but also throughout life.
Your new role This fabulous centre is looking to welcome a passionate and caring Early Childhood Teacher or well experienced Diploma to work as Education Leader in their 0-2 room.
As a room leader, you will manage children between 0-2 years. You will work alongside an experienced and passionate Educators and a float member of staff to cover breaks etc. You will have the prospect to provide a high-quality curriculum, in a secure and stimulating environment to resource with open ended and natural materials where children will be encouraged to experience all the elements.
Your curriculum should aim to develop children's social and emotional & independence skills to help them feel ready for school with a thorough school readiness programme. What you'll need to succeed Have a suitable ECT teaching qualification (Bachelor, bachelor equivalent) OR Diploma recognised by ACECQA Current knowledge of early childhood education theory and practice.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals. Efficient time management and leadership skills. Valid working with children's check and first aid desirable.
