St. Andrew's Grammar
Due to the ongoing growth of the School, we are seeking expressions of interests for Special Needs - Education Assistants who are interested in relief work. This role will be supporting the Secondary campus and work under the guidance of the classroom teacher as designated by the Head of Secondary.

Experience and Skills
- Experience working with students with special needs, in a secondary school setting (desirable).
- Have knowledge of a variety of disabilities, including ADHD and Autism.
- Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with students with special needs, parents and teaching professionals.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team in the evaluation of educational programs.
- Ability to assist teachers in implementing educational programs.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of inclusive education practices.
- Have strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to manage and prioritise a number of concurrent tasks.
- Proficient in the use of technology.
- Flexibility to adapt to situations which occur within a classroom.
- Show creativity, innovative skills and initiative to implement programs and differentiate as needed to meet the needs of all children.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of ‘Duty of Care’ and place a high value on child well-being.
- Possess a strong work ethic, striving for continuous improvement and the achievement of high standards.

- Relevant qualifications or equivalent.
