About The Role
 

The Education Operations Manager will oversee a network of OSHC services, providing high-level inclusion support to Nominated Supervisors and driving process improvement. Reporting to the Education Manager, this role aims to ensure excellence in service delivery, compliance with regulatory requirements, managing finances and maintaining a high-quality nurturing environment for children. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this impactful role.

  • Lead and motivate the OSHC team to achieve service objectives and deliver high-quality care to children.
  • Provide guidance and support to Nominated Supervisors in implementing inclusive practices and meeting compliance standards.
  • Offer professional development opportunities and training to enhance staff skills and competencies.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging teamwork and mutual respect.
     
  • Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to help staff reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with the Education Manager and other stakeholders to align team goals with the organisation's objectives.
  • Encourage and support innovation and creativity among team members to enhance program activities and offerings.
     
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for all OSHC sites.
  • Strategic planning for budget support, forecasting, and expenditure planning for OSHC sites.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance during audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement necessary changes and improvements to meet regulatory standards.
  • Key role in maintaining effective communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Foster open and transparent communication channels.

About You

  • First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis management certification, Diploma or Certificate IV Children’s Services, OSHC, Recreation; or Degree or Diploma Primary Teaching.
     
  • At least 8 years leadership experience in a school aged care.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within OSHC Services.
     
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in policy development, implementation, and compliance.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and forward-looking mindset to drive continuous improvement.
     
  • High levels of problem-solving and decision-making skills will be essential to identifying areas for improvement and finding practical solutions to address issues.
